Very few national banks had the right criteria to issue a high denomination like this. That makes these notes scarce. There are two varieties. One is really scarce. If the back says "One Hundred Dollars" at the center in large print then you have a great find. Most examples will say "1882 - 1908". Even the most generic examples should be worth a couple thousand dollars. Please contact us for exact values. Don't forget to check the serial number. Number 1 notes always sell for nice premiums.
