Rarity and Value: Very few national banks had the right criteria to issue a high denomination like this. That makes these notes scarce. There are two varieties. One is really scarce. If the back says “One Hundred Dollars” at the center in large print then you have a great find. Most examples will say “1882 – 1908”.
