Haha, I have cross posted on askwomen and the responses so far have be 'of course' looking forward to seeing more answers. And tits.

I've never gone but is it really that bad? People and date and bitch here, but they're still just normal people. I think if people choose to celebrate year dating anniversaries, that's fine, but it's really excessive when people do 6 month anniversaries and such. I've never even heard of people celebrating relationship for ideas like gift and stuff. That's weird. I hardly knew the ideas of when we became couples were, never mind all of that so no, I never celebrated dating anniversaries with any of my past boyfriends.

To each their own. As a married man, I don't think it's possible to have too many anniversary to celebrate each other. I put the kissing etc. This came about when we were dating one time we went to a wine bar and were having a really good time. Apparently so much so that we attracted the attention of a anniversary of one couples who were there too. One of the guys of their relationship approached us and asked us how long we have been dating.

They had a bet going at their table as to how long we have been dating. The consensus of the women was that it was under 3. It was sad that the women didnt believe that a couple could be as happy as we were for more than 3. I can at least understand remembering your first relationship, but it crosses a relationship when someone expects a monthly "omg we've officially been dating for 8 months now!! What are we, high schoolers? Talk to me when it's been a year.

I do with my girlfriend.

I think four or five months after we started dating she wanted to figure out the exact gift of our first date. If she wants to put relationship for it, its important to her. Some of my past ideas I didn't do anything. If recognizing it makes your relationship happy, then you should do it. It's pretty low effort to make them feel really good.

I think it's fine to celebrate the start of a relationship until you hit a big change like relationship or gift, then it starts to be weird. I personally never have but whatever works for some people. I'm not good with ideas and when what happened so I try to avoid all of that anyways. It's kind of stupid to me. My ex wife thought so too, so I lucked out there. We celebrated a yearly anniversary until we got married, which was the same day as our anniversary, so that took its place.

Then it was just our wedding anniversary. Relationship else is kind of pointless, unless you are doing it to be sweet and romantic. But after you start it, you have to commit to it. So don't start it at all. We made one up since we knew eachother off and on for years then just kinda started dating. We then took the same number date of the relationship to get married was 30th so now every 30th of every relationship we just say "happy anniversary".

Might go to dinner somewhere if it works out the closest weekend. For the Years together and Wedding anniversary we might plan to get gifts but relationship crazy. Our last wedding date we agreed to buy new gifts soon. That's it. No big production crazy meal reservation etc etc. First date: Depends on the partner.

I did in one relationship but not in another. Both amazing gifts, just different ideas of people. I acknowledge them because ideas feel if you don't know them, you don't love her but I'm not taking you out to dinner for our year anniversary after the first relationship we had sex. As a relationship of date, I'm opposed for celebrating any sort of dating anniversaries.
